Alex Girardey was educated at Aberystwyth School of Art, specialising in illustration and traditional forms of printmaking, and is currently based between Surrey and West Sussex. Her work follows themes of personal and national heritage, taking a particular focus on oral traditions to which she dedicated her degree study.
